Symptoms

After upgrading from Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g to ODI 12c an interface which uses database aggregate functions such as MAX, MIN, SUM, and PARTITION BY, which had a GROUP BY present in ODI 11g is missing the GROUP BY in ODI 12c.
