Goal

After performing the following:

  1. Set up Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Change Data Capture (CDC) for table model
  2. Create simple table to table mapping
  3. Confirm that inserting a new row in the source table results in a new row inserted in the target table
  4. Modify a primary key column value in the source table
  5. Verify result in the target table

Why does modifying the a primary key column value in the source table insert a new row in the target table instead of modifying the corresponding row?
