Symptoms
Oracle Identity Governance (OIG) is integrated to Oracle EBS HRMS using the 12.2.1.3.0 version of the EBS User Management connector. The connector raises an exception when a supervisor (in HRMS) has an assignment start date that is after the assignment start date of the reporting employee. In other words, the supervisor has been with the company less time than their reporting employee.
When the new supervisor is assigned as a manager for the employee, the EBS HRMS connector rejects the change with the following error:
