Symptoms
Java 1.8u411 (JDK) is attempted to be installed on a Linux server for later use with Application Servers and other tools.
The installation is successful by unpacking the tarball tar.gz downloaded from the Java Downloads Page per the instructions in the documentation Installing the JDK on Linux Platforms .
