Symptoms
It is found that files in the Oracle Home which should have been updated or removed after patching are not updated or removed when a Database Release Update For FMW DBClient is applied. This can surface in a few different forms spanning, manual verification or scan tool searching. In one specific case it was found that DMU is not removed via Patch 35943354.
The patch's actions list the following change which removes the dmu directory.
