Using DIP Tester To Setup DIP 10g Synchronization (Doc ID 306102.1)

Purpose

This document describes the procedure for using DIP Tester to setup an OID DIP Connector.

Scope

The DIP Tester can be used to configure a synchronization connector without the need to launch any
other tools or run any commands.

If this procedure is followed correctly, the DIP sync process can be configured and up in running in just a few minutes.

It is suggested that the user download the DIP Tester tool from OTN  and first study the README.html and DIP Tester Users Guide before attempting this procedure.


Note:  This Java DIPTester is NOT supported for 11g.  The same functionality is now available in 11gR1 Patchset 3 (11.1.1.4)
