Symptoms

  • After OIDDAS login for a user synchronized from another LDAP server to OID, or a user copied from another OID, tabs fail to display correctly with:
Error encountered while connecting to Directory Server
also applies for a user copied from another OID
  • ssoServer.log shows:

    AJPRequestHandler-ApplicationServerThread-5 AuthUtil: :parseSSOCookie Null SSO
    cookie received
  • das.log shows:
javax.naming.AuthenticationNotSupportedException: [LDAP: error code 48 - Insufficient access to do Proxy Switch]

Changes

Synchronization has been setup, but rather than syncing to the "cn=Users,<realm>" subtree, the Domain Rules in the map file show that entries are being sent to either "<realm>" or a newly created container under "cn=Users,<realm>"
