Runtime Assistant Error ORA-00942 (Doc ID 331055.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.


After entering all of the required configuration information into the Runtime Assistant the assistant starts the install but
fails with an error.

The error reported in the assistant log is:

oracle.wh.util.DebugUtility: arguments: '-thin' '-verbose' '-order' '-resolve' '-u'
(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=<SERVICE_NAME>)))' '../../lib/int/rtpserver.jar'
oracle.wh.util.DebugUtility: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
oracle.wh.util.DebugUtility: [processSPAWN]: A spawned program error. Exception =
java.lang.Exception: Error :
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
oracle.wh.util.DebugUtility: [processSPAWN]: Get the error, stop processing...
oracle.wh.util.DebugUtility: Assistant operation is unsuccessful ...

The error terminates the RT assistant and the runtime repository cannot be installed.


It is possible that the database and/or OWB have been upgraded
