Symptoms

 When trying to deinstall 10.1.2.0.1 SE version as per documentation, the OUI fails with out of memory errors.

$ORACLE_HOME/oui/bin/runInstaller -deinstall
/tmp/OraInstall<timestamp>.log
 Exception java.lang.OutOfMemoryError occurred..

 java.lang.OutOfMemoryError

 Exception occurred during event dispatching:
