Symptoms

Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 10g was working before a system reboot, or before attempting to setup for SSL and/or for EUS (Enterprise User Security) configuration.

Since then, oidldapd process is consistently / continuously dying and trying to restart.

OID server log (oidldapd01s<pid>.log) error:
