Purpose

To explain how to configure Client Authentication with (Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) when using WebCache installed with Oracle Application Server 10G Release 2 (10.1.2.X.X).

Please note that Oracle Portal does NOT support the use of Client Certificates. See: Oracle Application Server Portal Configuration Guide10g Release 2 (10.1.4) :
"6.1.7.10 HTTPS Communication
Client certificates may also be installed on the client to verify the identity of a client, but this feature is not yet supported OracleAS Portal"
