Purpose
This Note describes the step by step configuration of a sample HR -> OID Synchronization profile and troubleshoots configuration issues.
Note: OID synchronization with Oracle HR cannot synchronize the Oracle HR user passwords to OID, as these are stored in the HR database in one-way hashed format.
HR - OID synchronization should not be confused with Oracle EBusiness Suite (EBS) integration with OID where the user logs into EBS using the OID user/password and there is two-way provisioning between EBS and OID.
For more information about full EBS-OID integration see <Note:376811.1> Integrating Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 with 10g AS Oracle Internet Directory and Oracle Single Sign-On.
