Last updated on OCTOBER 20, 2022

Applies to:

JDBC - Version 10.1.0.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

You are trying to use Oracle JDBC 10.1.0.5 through oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver data source in macromedia codefusion 6.0;
JDBC URL: jdbc: oracle: oci:@myservice;
Driver Class: oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver

Everything works well except that when retrieving date fields from oracle database 10.1.0.5, the timestamp comes back as 00:00:00. With Oracle 9 drivers or 10.1.0.3, the timestamp is available.
