Mapping Workbench 10.1.3 Warns About Multiple Writable Mappings When It Shouldn't
(Doc ID 370189.1)
Last updated on MAY 25, 2021
Oracle TopLink - Version 10.1.3.1 and later Information in this document applies to any platform.
The class descriptor is defined as read-only.
It contains a direct-to-field mapping for a column.
It does also contain an aggregate mapping
The mapped aggregate descriptor has also a direct-to-field mapping for the same column.
The two direct-to-field mappings for the column should be valid, because the PrimaryObject descriptor is set read-only, therefore also it's attributes should be handled as read-only and so there are no multible writable mappings for the column.
Mapping Workbench displays invalid error message:
PrimaryObject 0106 - Mulitple mappings: "dateRange", "start" write to the database field: "PRIMARY_TABLE.START_DATE".
