Cannot Update Access Log Error Running HTTPS Application in OC4J Container (Doc ID 392995.1)

Symptoms

Standalone OC4J 10.1.3.0.0 is running two EJB applications.  One with a web-app using HTTP, the other is using HTTPS mode.

Both applications are set as default-web-app in their appropriate *-web-site.xml files, and both use the default ports (80 for HTTP and 443 for HTTPS). This is done through manually editing the web-site.xml files.

A NullpointerException about OC4J not being able to update the access log occurs at random times when users are browsing the website.
