Goal

Does Oracle JDBC Thin driver supports OS authentication?
Can any other JDBC Driver type besides JDBC Thin support OS Authentication?

In a J2EE web application, the requirement is to delegate the desktop login id to the database through the application server and get it authenticated at the database level.

The Oracle database user identified externally has been created. User id is delegated from the desktop to the Application server through either NTLM / Kerberos. Application Server needs to delegate this user id through JDBC Drivers and get it authenticated in Oracle.
