You have installed Oracle Application Server on two machines and each of this installs contain a custom OC4J Container. eg: myOC4J.  Application TestApp is deployed on both instance.

The servers have two ip-interfaces each.

When RMI Request Port is 12402 on both sides connection via ormi works fine.
          eg: ormi://<server_name>:12402:myOC4J/TestApp

However when OPMN Request Port is configured as port 6003 in opmn.xml on both installs connection via opmn:ormi fails with an error.
          eg: opmn:ormi//<server_name>:6003:myOC4J/TestApp
