Symptoms

When starting a Reports Server with jvmOptions for the Reports engine set to "-Xss9m" or more, the Reports Server does not start.

The following error is shown in the rwserver.trc file

[2007/1/31 1:25:47:223] Exception 56105 (): Engine rwEng-0 died with error:
oracle.reports.RWException: IDL:oracle/reports/RWException:1.0
at oracle.reports.utility.Utility.newRWException(Utility.java:758)
at oracle.reports.server.EngineManager.manage(EngineManager.java:344)
at oracle.reports.server.IdleThread.run(IdleThread.java:88)
