ODI Mapping or Integration Interface Is Unable to Drop Error Tables (Doc ID 423957.1)

Symptoms

When running an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Mapping or Integration Interface which successfully feeds data into a target table, in the ODI Journal (Operator), certain steps are labeled with warnings (yellow icons) and have attached warning messages indicating that the collect tables (C$_...) cannot be dropped.
