Last updated on DECEMBER 01, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 3.2.03.01 and later

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After incrementing the value of a numeric Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) (Sunopsis) Variable in a Package, it is necessary to compare its value with the content of a Integer type column.

However, at runtime, ODI (Sunopsis) substitutes the Variable name with a REAL type value including 2 zeros after the decimal point. As a result, it becomes impossible to compare it to an Integer value.

Is it possible to remove the decimal point and the 2 zeros before using the value in an evaluation ?
