"ORA-01401: inserted value too large for column" Is Signaled When Storing An LDAP Data Server in ODI 10g (Doc ID 424183.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to store an ODI LDAP Data Server after having successfully tested the connection parameters, the following message is signaled:

ORA-01401: inserted value too large for column 

 
Note that :

  1. the LDAP connection account and the LDAP Driver encrypted password have been entered into the User and Password fields on the Definition tab of the Data Server
  2. the LDAP connection URL has been specified in an LDAP Bundle (.properties) file.
