Connection Problems After Installing New JDBC Drivers For ODI (Doc ID 424432.1)

After having:

  • Renamed an old JDBC Driver (to, for example old-driver.jar) and
  • Installed a new JDBC Driver to replace the previous version

connection tests to the Data Servers still do not function correctly and error messages continue to be displayed.

What is the problem here and why does the new version of the Driver not function correctly?
