'NullPointerException' Message when Using ODI Tool OdiWaitForLogData (Doc ID 424628.1)

Symptoms

When using the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) OdiWaitForLogData tool to wait for DML events in ODI Journal tables, the following message is displayed and the Scenario aborts:


If the Scenario is relaunched, no problems are encountered. Also, the problem appears to be totally random.

Note that the the POLLINT parameter is set a value of 500.
