Registered Portlet Producers Do Not Appear in the Component Palette (Doc ID 429337.1)

Portlet Producers are not shown in the component palette after successful registration.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1.  Create a new application of type WebCenter within JDeveloper.
2.  Register the omniportlet producer.
3.  Create a JSP page. In this step DO NOT select JSF JSP, but instead just select JSP.
4.  View the component palette and confirm that the producer is not displayed.
