FRM-41213 Error using Run_report_object with Report Server on Different Server (Doc ID 431695.1)

Symptoms

The Forms and Reports servers are set up on different machines.

Calling the Report from the Reports Server machine works correctly. However, trying to call the report from the Forms Server machine using RUN_REPORT_OBJECT fails with the Errors:

FRM-41213: Unable to connect to the Report server <report server name>
REP-0178: Cannot connect to Reports Server XXX

Using rwdiag.sh from the Forms Server machine does not show the Reports Server machine.

Both machines are on the same subnet. Multicasting was used for these machines.
