Goal
Is there any way to change the Web Application Server authentication to use some other external / custom authentication source, such as a Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) server? That will allow logging in to the Application Server Administrative Console via authentication credentials that are checked against a corporate source rather than the internal Application Server password file.
