Goal

How can I perform a Verity Collection Rebuild from the Command line?

The Collection Rebuild Cycle is typically launched from the Repository Manager. The Repository Manger provides a user friendly interface for initiating the rebuild and also provides statistical information on the rebuild progress.

In some situations a user may wish to generate a rebuild cycle from a command line, for example where a user wants to schedule a rebuild using crontab. This can be done by defining a custom hda file and using IdcCommand as described below.
