Folders Export Archive Fails Due To Timeout

Symptoms
When using the Folders Export Archive operation from the Folder Configuration Administration page in the browser, the export starts but fails before you are asked where to save the exported archive file. You may see broken pipe messages or other error messages in the Content Server log files.
The Content Server log file may show an error similar to this:
