Symptoms

A Dependent Choice List (DCL) has been created and a piece of content has been checked in with DCL field values chosen.  However, when looking at the Content Information page for the content item just checked in, one or more of the values for the DCL fields are wrong; they are not the values that were selected when checking in the item.
