When viewing the status of services configured on IPM servers in IPM Service Manager, some servers are identified by their IP address and not their server names. Additionally, the IPM services running on those servers show up with a blue question mark for their status.
The IPM help file describes the status as: “Unknown - Tool did not respond to the status request message”. This makes determining the true state of those servers/services problematic to assess.
