WebDAV: Unable to Login with Web Folders Connection to Content Server Running on iPlanet (Sun One)

Symptoms
Your Content Server is running on iPlanet. You are trying to make a WebDAV connection to the Content Server using Microsoft Web Folders from a Windows XP client. When you create the new Network Place using the WebDAV URL, you get a login prompt but it is not a Content Server IDC Security prompt. The prompt appears to be coming from iPlanet, and you are unable to log in using your Content Server login credentials. If you click the Cancel button on this prompt and then click the Next button again from the “Add Network Place Wizard”, you do get the Content Server IDC Security prompt and you are then able to log in. How can you bypass the first prompt?
