WebDAV Connection Is Dropping the Letter 'v' from the WebDAV Connection String

Symptoms

I am using IIS as the web server for my Content Server. I am trying to open a folder through WebDAV using Microsoft Web Folders. I created the WebDAV connection with a string like this:

http://my_server/stellent/idcplg/webdav

I connect though WebDAV, and I see these folders listed:

Contribution Folders: http://my_server/stellent/idcplg/webdav/Contribution Folders
Trash: http://my_server/stellent/idcplg/webdav/Trash

However, when I try to open Contribution Folders, I get an error stating that the path is not valid. The path is now listed as:

http://my_server/stellent/idcplg/webda/Contribution Folders

Notice that the letter 'v' is dropped from "webdav" in the path.

If I try to open a Word document through the browser using Checkout and Open (COAO), Microsoft Word opens but the title bar of Word shows "idcplg (Read Only)" instead of the name of the document. The Word document is corrupted and has a large message at the top stating:

"You have javascript disabled in your website - must have java enabled"

How can these issues be resolved?
