Symptoms

Using the PDF Converter 7.5 on Win 2003 with a SAMBA connection to a Solaris 9.
The PDF Converter was working fine with out error for a long time.
The PDF Converter started failing with errors like this:

Starting to convert: Input File = '\test/vault/123/@prj/@prj1234/123456.doc' Output File = '\test/weblayout/groups/projects/@prj/@prj1234/documents/123/123-0123456~1a.doc' Conversion Type = 'Word' Content ID = 'Test-stellent' Title = 'My document'
Internal error while processing data intradoc.common.ServiceException: Unable to copy the file '\test/vault/123/@prj/@prj1234/123456.doc' to 'c:\stellent\IdcRefinery\shared\ConversionEngines\main\123456.doc'. The source file does not exist. Unable to copy the file '\test/vault/123/@prj/@prj1234/123456.doc' to 'c:\stellent\IdcRefinery\shared\ConversionEngines\main\123456.doc'. The source file does not exist.



The PDF Converter fails to convert any further documents until the Service is restarted.
