"query execution failed" when Runnning ODI Integration Interfaces / Mappings on Database Whose Name Includes Blank (Spacebar) Characters (Doc ID 454085.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), a database has been created on a Microsoft SQLServer instance with the name : "Test- 1"  (contains a blank (spacebar) character).

Then, after :

  1. Creating the Data Server form Topology Manager.
  2. Creating the Physical Schema and associated Logical Schema for a specific Context
  3. Creating the Model in the ODI Designer Tool
  4. Attempting to consult the data in the Datastore with a right click > Data, an error message is displayed showing  :

As a result it is impossible to run Integration Interfaces on such databases.
