Symptoms
When setting up Oracle Internet Directory (OID) Replication in 10g 10.1.4, bulkload does not run on Remote Master Site (RMS) OID replica node when running with -check -generate options.
Symptom #1. The following command used to load a newly installed replica merely returns to the command prompt. Nothing useful is written to the bulkload.log.
Then a search on the output file schema.out for: "objectclasses:orclrole" "attributetypes: orclassignedpermissions" "attributetypes: orclassignedroles" or other missing attributes reported by the bulkload -index operation.
Changes
1. Sponsor node (MDS) had custom modifications made to the schema that do not exist in the new replica installed schema.
2. Sponsor node (MDS) was missing standard schema objects due to unknown reasons.
3. An existing 10.1.2.x was upgraded to 10.1.4.
