Purpose

This bulletin documents the recommended patches for Portal 10.1.4.x.

Scope

This document is intended to be used by the Portal Administrator. Before applying patches, a cold backup of the system must be performed.  In addition, these patches should be installed and tested on a test instance before patching production.

If OPatch raises a message that conflicts have been encountered, please review the section below labeled "Check for Conflicts" that contains notes documenting known issues.  If the issue is not documented, a service request should be generated and the patches should not be applied.  In the event of a conflict, a message similar to this one would be raised:
