"This Datastore is not journalized in this context" Error when Using a Journalized Datastore with Long Name in an ODI Integration Interface (Doc ID 466391.1)

Symptoms

An Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Journal is successfully started on a Datastore reverse-engineered from an Oracle table with a name length that exceeds 28-characters. For example, the table name is "TABLE_WITH_LONG_NAME_123456789". A user can see journal data when clicking on Journal Data of this Datastore.

However, the journalizing status icon marker is orange instead of green for this Datastore.

Also, when the developer drag and drops the Datastore into an ODI Integration Interface and click on its "Journalized Data only" check box, the following error message appears:
