WNA Stops Working After IDM Version 10.1.4.2 or 10.1.2.3 Patchset Has Been Applied (Doc ID 469747.1)

Symptoms

An Oracle AS IM version 10.1.4.0.1 environment has been configured for Windows Native Authentication (WNA) and was working correctly.
After applying the IDM version 10.1.4.2 patchset (<patch 5983637>) WNA login attempts fail.
or
An Oracle AS IM version 10.1.2 environment has been configured for Windows Native Authentication (WNA) and was working correctly.
After applying the IDM version 10.1.2.3 patchset WNA login attempts fail.

Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) browser returns:

Changes

Patchset version 10.1.4.2 has been applied.
or
Patchset version 10.1.2.3 has been applied.
