Receiving An "Unspecified error" Error When Applying An Updated Process In IPM Builder (Doc ID 549570.1)

Symptoms

When applying a process over an existing process, the following error message is received in Process Builder:

"Unspecified error"

This error stops Process Builder from applying the process and prevents the update of the workflow, so changes cannot be implemented.
