WWC-41417 and WWC-00006 Errors Logging into Portal

Symptoms
When loading the portal page, receive the following errors:
Error: Internal error (WWC-00006)
Unexpected error encountered in wwsec_app_priv.process_signon (User-Defined Exception) (WWC-41417)
When Portal midtier is restarted, everything functions fine for awhile then eventually (between 5 minutes and an hour) the errors show up again.
Environment has two infra servers and two mid-tier servers, both fronted by Big IP F5 Load Balancers.
The following errors appear throughout the Web Cache event_log:
[req-info] [ecid: <ECID>] [client: <IP_ADD>] [host: -][url: -]
[error 12417] [ecid: <ECID>] HTTP request-header parsing error- no header name. Client IP: <IP_ADD>
[error 12419] [ecid: <ECID>] Dump of offending HTTPrequest-header line: GET /
