Imported ODI (Sunopsis) Integration Interface Uses the Default Knowledge Module and Only Executes Few Steps (Doc ID 553202.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 24, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 3.1 to 10.1.3.9.99
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The following issues occur when an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Integration Interface is exported and imported from one environment into another:

Issue 1:

The Integration Interface uses a newly created Integration Knowledge Module in the original environment. However, after being imported into the target environment, its Integration Knowledge Module is set to the default one such as IKM Oracle Incremental Update if the target is an Oracle table.

Issue 2:

The Integration Interface does not use any newly created Integration Knowledge Module. After being imported into the target environment, it runs successfully but it only executes 3 steps of the Integration Knowledge Module and the data is not moved at all.
