Oracle HTTP Server 10g Is Being Restarted By OPMN after "Process Ping Failed" is Seen (Doc ID 553564.1)

Symptoms

From the ipm.log and/or opmn.logs files you can see that Oracle Process monitoring and Notification services (OPMN) forcefully shutsdown HTTP server and then brings it up again. The following are the errors :

HTTP_Server~HTTP_Server~HTTP_Server~1 (162399485:8088)
[The connection SSL receive timed out]

[The connection SSLreceive timed out]
[libopmnohs] Process Ping Failed: HTTP_Server~HTTP_Server~HTTP_Server~1 (162399485:8088)
[The connection SSL receive timed out]
[libopmnohs] Process Unreachable: HTTP_Server~HTTP_Server~HTTP_Server~1 (162399485:8088)
Stopping Process: HTTP_Server~HTTP_Server~HTTP_Server~1 (162399485:8088)
Stopping Process: HTTP_Server~HTTP_Server~HTTP_Server~1 (162399485:8088)
[libopmnohs] Forcefully Terminating Process: HTTP_Server~HTTP_Server~HTTP_Server~1 (162399485:8088)
Starting Process: HTTP_Server~HTTP_Server~HTTP_Server~1 
Process Alive: HTTP_Server~HTTP_Server~HTTP_Server~1 (162399485:11588)
