Column Names In Tables Are Changing Case And Causing Schema Update To Fail (Doc ID 555413.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 03, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 7.5.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When adding a custom information field in Configuration Manager, the following error is received:

Unable to execute service GET_SCHEMA_VIEW_EDIT_INFO and function getViewEditInfo.
(System Error: The view column field Name in the table TABLENAME for view VIEWNAME is missing.)

Also, Column names in the tables are changing case from "Column" (mixed-case) to "COLUMN" (uppercase). Click "Synchronize definition" then add the columns back into the view. This works for a while, but then the columns revert back to mixed case and the error reoccurs.
