Goal

When  installing the first instance of an OracleAS Cluster (Identity Management) the Single Sign On  Configuration Assistant (SSOCA) can fail trying to contact Oracle Internet Directory (OID) using the load balancer (LBR) virtual name.

The goal of this document is to show the different tools and techniques available to validate if the OID Server can be reached from the database node
