ODI Model JKM or RKM or CKM Selections Become Undefined when Logging in with a User (Doc ID 556754.1)

Last updated on JUNE 16, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 4.1.01.01 to 10.1.3.6.10
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

An ODI Model has been set to use a JKM from a Project, for example, JKM Oracle Consistent.Project1.  Another ODI (non-Supervisor) User is granted View and Edit privileges to the Model and View privilege to the Project the JKM belongs to, in this case Project1.

However, when the User logs into Designer and clicks on the Model's Journalizing tab, the User sees the Model's JKM selection appears as "Undefined" and even if the user reselect the JKM from the drop down, the descriptions, options, and steps of the JKM are those of a JKM from another Project that the User has not been granted access to, for example, JKM Oracle 10g Consistent (Logminer).Project2.

Note we are using a JKM case here, this same issue also occurs with RKM or CKM set on the Model.

With RKM, for example, you see RKM Hyperion is in the drop down and you select it, but the descriptions, options and steps are for RKM File (FROM EXCEL).
