Receiving Error 24908 and Purge/Save Request Failure Errors on IPM Storage Server (Doc ID 557392.1)

Symptoms

Constantly receiving the following errors in the Storage server logs:

Purge request for object <Object Name> failed to complete processing. Error 24908

Save request on volume <Volume Name> for object <Object Name> failed to complete processing. Error 2

System restarts do not resolve the issue.

Changes

This issue usually occurs after objects have been deleted from IPM using a client (web or production).
