Content Categorizer Fails with Error: "Unable to execute service method 'sccComputeSuggestedMetadata'" (Doc ID 559749.1)

Symptoms

On 10.1.3.3.2 running on Linux X86_64, when trying to run a simple test per the documentation for the Content Categorizer component, categorization fails and throws an error on the page. An error with a stack trace appears in the Content Server output:
