Checkout And Open (COAO) Does Not Update The Author Field During Checkin (Doc ID 562508.1)

Symptoms

When checking in a content item the author field is populated correctly via the Content Server web UI.

However, using the COAO component the author is not updated but remains as the person who originally checked in the file.
