Symptoms
Reports Server is crashing Intermittently. It displays the following errors:
REP-51002: Bind to Reports Server '<repserver_name>' failed.
or
REP-56040: Server <repserver_name> already exists in the network.
or
REP-56040: Server <repserver_name> already exists in the network.
When it is integrated with Forms, it may hit the following errors after re-starting reports server, or intermittently, too:
REP-52251: The output of job ID ### requested on <date> cannot be retrieved. REP-56033: Job### does not exist.
Reports Server is running on a "multi-homed" host. Two network cards (NICs) are installed on this machine. "rwdiag.sh -findAll" output is displaying the same reports server name more than once. Sometimes it displays the same repserver fourth times in the same box, i.e.:
