Auto-restart Setting Enabled Restarts Web Cache Every 30 Seconds (Doc ID 564335.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.


With auto-restart enabled, Web Cache is being restarted every few minutes.

According to event_log, the restart is happening every few minutes, which shows:

[16/Apr/2008:23:58:26 +0200] [error 12417] [ecid: <ECID>] HTTP request-header parsing error
- no header name. Client IP: <IP>
[16/Apr/2008:23:58:26 +0200] [error 12419] [ecid: <ECID>] Dump of offending HTTP
request-header line: GET /
[16/Apr/2008:23:58:26 +0200] [debug 11320] [ecid: -] Connection count decremented. Current
connection count is 1.
[16/Apr/2008:23:58:26 +0200] [alert 8507] [ecid: -] Cache server process not running.
[16/Apr/2008:23:58:26 +0200] [alert 8509] [ecid: -] Starting the cache server.
[16/Apr/2008:23:58:26 +0200] [notification 9704] [ecid: -] Abort Issued. The program will shut
down immediately.
[16/Apr/2008:23:58:26 +0200] [notification 9610] [ecid: -] The server is exiting.
[16/Apr/2008:23:58:31 +0200] [notification 9612] [ecid: -] OracleAS Web Cache 10g (10.1.2),
